chrisonline Hi! FoF means "Friends of Flarum" and is a "group" of extensions developers. So FoF are extensions from this group. Which extension of "FoF" you wanted to activate? For Twitter Login you can follow my guide at this thread: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/21470-twitter-login-extension-how-to-create-an-twitter-app
[deleted] chrisonline cool, thanks, could not find FoF. Now its clear to me π . I will try to follow your link
[deleted] chrisonline your thread looks so fimiliar to me. That's just what I did and filled in everything after I got myself a develloper thingie and tried. Hmpf, will try again...
chrisonline [deleted] option for relocating wrongly posted discussions You can as admin change the tags.
[deleted] chrisonline I know. But someone posted the wrong comment in this tag and now I want to migrate her post to the tag where it should be. Just hers. The rest can stay, cause its under the right tag
chrisonline [deleted] Try to use this extension: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/1903-friendsofflarum-split-separates-posts-to-a-new-discussion
[deleted] chrisonline I'm sorry chris, still not what I'm looking for. I found the option to split and rename a post. But that still is not what I want. I want to take out the specific reaction and put it in the thread where it should be. So, not isolate it for a new thread, but take it out and put it in a already existing thread. To be clear, I have an introduce yourself thread. But a person introduced herself in the thread where we talk about our hobby. So I want her introduction in the "introduce yourself" thread.
luceos Here on discuss we use split to move the post out of the wrong discussion, then we use merge discussions to merge it into the introduction discussion. And even though we're strictly English here, welkom π±πΊπ
[deleted] luceos Does this mean I have to download a merging extention? I didn't see one, but will look again. I thinkk that's te way to go thumbs up:
[deleted] Why? When I try to login with twitter I still get An error occurred while trying to load this page. I regenerated the api keys and filled it in, but still I cannot login while I have a twitter account and I see the twitter bird on the login page....don't get it : /
luceos [deleted] try enabling debug in the config.php by replacing the value false to true behind debug. This should give you more direct feedback, please disable it as soon as possible.
luceos [deleted] it's fof/merge-discussions https://discuss.flarum.org/d/19460-friendsofflarum-merge-discussions
[deleted] luceos wait wait wait, now you changed your language to chinese, so will try to figure out what you're talking about... luceos sorry, tried to, whats configurations.php? Where can I adjust the debug settings? luceos Thanks, this was succesful.
chrisonline [deleted] sorry, tried to, whats configurations.php? Where can I adjust the debug settings? In the root installation you see a "config.php" file. Open it and change the "debug" flag to "true:
brian85 [deleted] wait wait wait, now you changed your language to chinese In reading this discussion, I'm affraid that a minimum development skill is required to understand what all that means, you can't learn everything that is required in one day.
[deleted] Hi, I'm tweaking my website and I would really like the subscribers to be able to login with twitter. I did just what I had to do, go to developper section, filled in the forms, got the API keys and no matter how often I regenerate the API keys, I'm unable to log in. You see the logo and at first when I clicked there was text that I was unable. Now I don't see text anymore. Just can't get in. Frustrating! I got advice on config.php and debug, but I don't know how or where to debug. Help?
tolgaaaltas [deleted] Did you ever check this discussion? If you open debug mode, you can see logs in storage/logs/flarum-yyyy-mm-dd.log file.
[deleted] tolgaaaltas I followed the complete instruction 3 times over ; / I'm so sorry, but can anybody explain to me "what (where) is debug mode"? I'm a true nitwit
datitisev [deleted] Debug mode is enabled by setting debug to true in config.php. See our Troubleshooting guide for some steps you can take to try and figure out the error. Debug mode shows the error stacktraces when they occur (they don't normally for security reasons).
