I have a strange problem with this extension. When I enable it, it overrides the ability to link within a thread. For example, if someone replies to a post, Flarum's natural behavior is to quote the user with a link to that comment; however Best Answer overrides that behavior.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Hello, I am using this extension in Flarum and it is great.
I found a strange problem when I enabled the extension, which caused it to deviate.
At the same time, it also causes the reply content to shift downwards

Hello, if I change the permissions in the settings, it does not work at all, only the administrator assigns the best answer. I tested it on 2 different flarum websites.

By the way, I'm reinstating the permissions to members or adding all groups, still users can't choose the best answer.

@IanM I have best answer plugin active only on few tags but after running scheduler cron, I'm getting reminders for discussions from tags where BA isn't even enabled, how do I fix it?

HD3D The reminder should only be sent to tags that have reminders enabled. This seems to apply to tags that have reminders enabled but best answer disabled. Make sure the tags that don't have Best Answer capability also have reminders disabled.

datitisev I don't see disable option, there's only Enable option and when I run the cron, it starts sending best answer reminders even for those tags where best answer isn't enabled.

HD3D If you go to the Flarum Tags settings, and edit a tag, you'll see checkboxes at the bottom for enabling Best Answer and for enabling best answer reminders. The reminders are sent on the condition that the reminder option is checked - in other words, it doesn't check that best answer is actually enabled on that tag as well (at least for now). This should probably be fixed, but you can solve it for yourself by manually unchecking the reminder box for each tag that doesn't have best answer enabled.

Very usefull extension, but seems its incompatible with some extensions:

datlechin/flarum-bbcode-hide-content (and there is no another extensions with the same functions).
separate report here. Seems its not process LOGIN-bbcode and show all just in plain text.

seems its incompatible with new post links: when I click on post create time it take me to the right post. When I click on "Solve" it tooks me much more higher.. (right post num: 44, but best-answer tooks me to 28.. its a lot of moved/removed posts).
Unregistered users didnt see the author of solve in top-message after loadind via direct link to topic (not post, just topic). It can be related with BBCode Hide Content or Mentios or something else. Also, default behavior is jump to solve (as I see), but this must be configurable (begin, solve, end, default).

Unfortunately, its a great idea and big job, but its incompatible with several required functions simultaneously and didn't work correctly. So I prefer to disable it 🙁
