Anyone know how to push the widget to the bottom on mobile view?

majkimajki not possible AFAIK. You can only remove it through CSS which is what I did.

Great extension. No doubt I will be using it.

May I make a small suggestion, can the stats shown be 'rounded up' please.
It will make the stats look much neater and will save up using screen real-estate

For example:
Discussions: 7,465 becomes Discussions: 7K+
Posts: 110,650 becomes Posts: 100K+
Members: 6,231 becomes Members: 6K+

Is it possible for a change to be made for the way this displays on mobile?

Currently the widget will appear above the discussions.
Could it be moved to the footer or instead placed inside the side bar on mobile where the Search, Flagged posts and notifs sit?

Edit: Used the CSS above to remove it from phones but would still like a way to see it either bottom of page or inside the side-bar on mobile

Ralkage Add an option to relocate the widget to the hamburger menu when in mobile view.

Hi, has this "to-do" item been abandoned? like many asking, I think it would be great to not have to hide the widget on mobile/tablets and just have it at the bottom of the hamburger menu items (or at the bottom of the discussions/posts list right before the footer.

IanM that’s a welcome change, thanks. I have a question though. I have set some permissions for this extension, namely regular users can’t see who the last registered user is. So, since caching is used, when a regular user happens to be the one that refreshes the cache, does that mean the cached value won’t contain who the last registered user is, hence when a mod sees the widget, he will be seeing what a regular user cached?

I’m asking, since I’ve noticed a similar problem with Sycho’s online users widget caching and he helped me work around that limitation by cloning his repo and applying some code changes.

Litalino this extension was never designed to work with the widgets core. Adding support for this is possible, but not on the roadmap at this time.

@IanM If you add statistics on total online members and total current guest visits, that would be great.

CyberGene no, all of the cache data will be refreshed, no matter if the actual user request that triggered it has the full range of permissions or not.

Once the cache has updated, we then check permissions on the given user to see if those values are allowed to be serialized. Since the cache is not directly available to the user, I don't believe there would be an issue here.
