Maybe there is some way to get the plugin delivered, from composer, through a caching server, straight to the end-user. Just an idea...

Sapioit Toby also has plans to build in a Marketplace that will allow users to browse and install extensions from the admin panel (as is possible in many CMS packages). This probably won't happen as soon as the installer, but it is something that's planned for the future.

Well, for now I'm pleased that I can use Flarum... maybe, you should also make a small guide for the pople who want to contribute and don't know where to start (looking at the code) from, how it's tought to work, and so on...

MOE please start a new discussion with your question. We gladly try to help you there. You can read all previous release notes (starting with the one for beta 3) to do the upgrade, there is no "immediate step" because your version is lagging behind immensily.

Sorry to write but there was a list of issues which will be fixed in the upcoming betas. Can not find it anymore. Could someone point me to the (github) page?

NiklasFiedenskamp There isn't a download at present. To install Beta 5, you'll need to use Composer via SSH as described in the Installation docs. But please don't lose heart ... a new downloadable installer is being planned.
