varun3 Can i not use this for production?
People keep asking this ... usually immediately after quoting the warning that says "Don't do use it in production".
The answer is ... Yes, this warning also applies to you.
If you want to use Flarum in production, that's your choice. There are no special exceptions, because Flarum is not magically "less beta" for some people than for others. There are still bugs and missing features, and there is always the possibility that your forum will break. Or you'll have trouble upgrading to the next beta. Or something will go horribly wrong: your forum will start bleeding members ... your Google ranking will go down ... you'll break out in a horrible case of hives and your girlfriend will leave you.
Whatever happens, it'll be your responsibility. There's no guarantee that anyone here can help you fix the problem. Are you equipped to troubleshoot this beta software and fix any problems ... all by yourself?
If you are, then you may well be able to use this beta in production. But if you're really sure that you're ready to take this step ... why would you bother asking anyone here? ?
