Excellent, thanks for the replies Toby really appreciate it.
To clarify some of what I've asked though; For the the text editor I'm basically asking if there will be WYSIWYG editor for ordinary citizens 🙂
Also, I'm looking at Discourse side by side with Flarum in by browser, and while the similarities are obvious, Flarum is just so much more refined and elegant from a design point of view, that is super important to me. Discourse seems too brutally practical in it's implementation of features, like it's software designed by developers for developers, sort of has an aspergers feel to it's UX.
Flarum, on the other hand is minimal and restrained, yet still elegant and 'smooth' in appearance and feel. Sp 1000 points for that, truly.
Last question then, looking at Discourse, there is the option to have the forum's 'front-page' as a listed view of 'categories' which resembles a more traditional forum - which many users migrating will appreciate. So, can/will Flarum have this ability to change 'front-page' views - like having the current 'Tags' button showing the various Forum sections in those coloured tiles as a start page of sorts? That would be cool, so new users to the site can easily see all the discussion 'rooms' available to them and proceed from there.
Cheers, - Mike.
