I came up with this name casually. If you need a pronunciation, pronounce it as'fam' ( family -> fam~~ily~~). 🤣
For free software, I think its pronunciation should also be free.

The packaging method is referenced from https://flutter.dev/desktop#windows ,The next version will use MSIX packaging instead of zip.

xkeyC @Justoverclock I'd exercise extreme caution here. An infected DLL file is going to wreak havoc on any Windows system if it comes from a random and untrusted source. I'd expect all DLL files to be digitally signed along with a Checksum that can be used to ensure the file hasn't been tampered with.

Taking this file from anywhere without extensive checks is an absolute no in my view as it's putting your system at risk.

You'll want to grab both x86 and x64 bit versions of Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019.

To add, I agree with [deleted] with regards to downloading that DLL from an non-trusted source; tread with caution and verify the Checksum 😉

Yes, it's cool, but Flarum's experience in PC browsers is very good, and if I'm going to develop an app, I think it should focus on the mobile platform experience.

Due to COVID 19 and other reasons, I temporarily lost my job and got a little compensation, I plan to take a break, maybe I can use this time to re-plan Flarum's mobile app, if anyone has a good idea, please let me know.

Over a year of work has taught me a lot, maybe we will have a better one.

Hi! I tried to install old closed app (fla) but first is that I can't build app because of old version of flutter. Second - i can't login for any forum in dev app. Its not possible anymore? Do someone know where is problem with login?
