I could not upgrade from beta13 to beta 14 by applying above guide.

My flarum info after use commands.

fakruzaruret you still have multiple extensions installed that are not compatible with beta 14.

If you want to update now and stop using those extensions, you will need to remove them via Composer before starting the update.

fakruzaruret Most of the extensions are dead on the Beta 14 (except the core extensions) because the technology behind changed drastically. Thankfully the team are updating one by one each extension to make it compatible to Beta 14

You can see which extensions are compatible with v14 here https://extiverse.com/
please be sure to check 3rd party + core extensions and verify above that it s written compatible with flarum 0.1.0-beta.14.

So if they are not on those lists, you have to delete them

My forum is updated to Beta14 without troubles.
This time, composer doesn't eat all my memory and everything runs very smooth.

My unique problems is extension fof-links which sadly not support Beta14 yet.

Justoverclock vikasprogrammer make sure to run the latest composer composer selfupdate. According to my version the --no-install flag exists. Leaving it out isn't a huge deal if that helps move forward with installation.

vikasprogrammer what flarum/core version does composer show -D list? If it mentions beta 13, try running composer why-not flarum/core v0.1.0-beta.14.

nexromant how did you clean the cache files in storage folder, my storage/cache is already empty, is there another cache folder?

luceos I cleared the cache by deleting files in storage/views folder, it worked! I am upgraded to beta 14.

I did skip the no-install flag, that didn't pose any issues.

Justoverclock you probably installed composer as root, you can run sudo composer.phar selfupdate.
