Justoverclock vikasprogrammer make sure to run the latest composer composer selfupdate. According to my version the --no-install flag exists. Leaving it out isn't a huge deal if that helps move forward with installation.

vikasprogrammer what flarum/core version does composer show -D list? If it mentions beta 13, try running composer why-not flarum/core v0.1.0-beta.14.

Now I am getting this after I ran the whole upgrade procedure (I removed the --no-install option, see my last post).

nexromant how did you clean the cache files in storage folder, my storage/cache is already empty, is there another cache folder?

luceos I cleared the cache by deleting files in storage/views folder, it worked! I am upgraded to beta 14.

I did skip the no-install flag, that didn't pose any issues.

Justoverclock you probably installed composer as root, you can run sudo composer.phar selfupdate.

samus14 You can see all compatible extensions on extiverse.com. FoF User Directory has not yet been updated for Beta 14.

mntor1000 Flarum core is fairly stable in and of itself, however we may sometimes break community extensions during updates. As such we only caution against Flarums use in production for people who don't have experience managing software. If you have some decent experience managing PHP projects using composer and you follow proper backup procedures Flarum will likely be perfect. There are already several forums with thousands of users out there.

I'm having issues when installing fof/oauth

Problem 1
- Root composer.json requires fof/oauth ⁰.1.0 -> satisfiable by fof/oauth[0.1.0].
- fof/oauth 0.1.0 requires fof/components >=0.2.0 -> found fof/components[0.2.0] but it conflicts with your root composer.json require (⁰.1.1).

Use the option --with-all-dependencies (-W) to allow upgrades, downgrades and removals for packages currently locked to specific versions.

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json and ./composer.lock to their original content.

any suggestions on how to fix this conflict?
