Wondering if people with a good amount of traffic/discussions/users have upgraded to beta 14?
Curious if people with live forums updated to beta 14
nope currently with beta 13, having difficulty with upgrading to beta 14 from beta 13
I may upgrade this week
I did. But you said forums with a lot of traffic. That’s not me. But, I haven’t experienced any major issues. Just a couple extension hiccups that the wonderful developers promptly fixed.
Still waiting for all extensions to be upgraded. But that's ok, this was one major upgrade unlike anything else before. Future Flarum versions will have much better transitions.
I mean, mine is live, but only use it for friends and family.
I am having a couple issues only:
- only my profile page won't load (some javascript error)
- viewing voters doesn't work
other than that everything works great!
Make sure to report issues in the discussions for those extensions, so that the maintainers can resolve those problems. Unless reported, these problems will not resolve themselves.
- Cookie Consent
- Flagrow Ads - But looks like that one will not be getting anymore support.
karaok Just a few on the one install I'm checking most regularly…
- flagrow/direct-links
- flarum/bbcode (this one probably shouldn't be showing incompatibility)
- v17development/flarum-support
- therealsujitk/flarum-ext-hljs
It sounds like Direct Links might not find a maintainer moving forward, so I may have to remove some features from my site(s). I could pretty easily go w/o the highlighter, but would be nice, since the site is focused on code. Primarily waiting on the doc/support plugin.
SallyMelek take backup, install in other folder or local. Test > Report bugs > once bugs fixed try to apply same procedure to live site. There are few unsupported extension check change log for each extension. Do not take risks ... if you ran into any problems You may lose peace of mind for 1-2 days. DO NOT TOUCH LIVE SITE until you experience upgrade procedure in test environment.
karaok could you take a look at fof/recaptcha? It doesn't work on beta 14 unfortunately.
Thanks for all your support!
Kakifrucht yes, already started

If you haven't checked out the extiverse helper yet, please do so.
Aside from using the check
command to see compatibility of installed extensions with the latest Flarum version, it is now also able to guide you through an upgrade (please be careful for now, this hasn't been tested in all environments yet -- make backups!).
MikeJones I feel better with composer 2 and I did, I updated composer during upgrading of Flarum to Beta 14
Is there is any Ad extensions compatibility with beta 14? (as Flagrow Ads is now not supported)
