Darkle thanks for the mention!
I've created a server for easier communication. First post is updated with the invite. Everyone is free to join. Let's get this baby going
Blog for Flarum Support Community

EDIT: There are 4 of us already. Currently discussing stable version features and improvements
- Edited
Unfortunately, there is not much going on with the group. There are 6 of us for now with only 3 of us (I think) who would financially support new changes.
I proposed these changes for the stable version and we are still looking for more guys who would be interested to crowd fund it. Feel free to join us on Discord:

composer page rewrite:
- fields for the title, category, blog settings (without additional windows)
- article image management compatible with FoF upload
- remove bio on sidebar (and place there fields with categories, article image, summary...)
front page:
- category class on posts (for theming)
- do not auto-feature posts on blog
- searchable posts
- schedule posts (maybe better for the extension)
- some basic layout variations (maybe better for the extension)
- fix OG tags
articles:
- ability to use author name instead of Flarum nickname
- basic sidebar managment (related or latests posts)
- extendibility for widgets (Darkle mentioned it)
- some basic layout variations (also maybe better for the extension)
- metatags
Composer page design proposal:
User24 I think @luceos crowdfunding idea he teased would be perfect here and really promote the development of this extension as well as many others. I've donated the past few months to v17 using their donation site, but I would much rather "donate" in the form of crowdfunding/bounty for features and continued development.

hrvoje_hr I see I haven't joined the Discord server yet and the join link is expired Can you update it?
I also want to update everyone here. I am currently really busy with finishing my study at this moment. Unfortunately, it now takes most of my time as the end is (finally) nearby. This is the reason there weren't any updates and replies last few weeks. So just to be clear, we haven't forgotten Flarum, we're still thrilled to build more!
Next month I should (hopefully) finish my study forever, so in July we'll start working on a lot of updates and improvements again!
JasperVriends link is updated. Good luck with finals!
We are forever grateful for your continuous support for this extension. The Crowdfunding idea is very interesting. We love working on Flarum Blogs. The community support for this extension is great!
It would be great to get this continue.
We will try to contribute, a small donation is always welcomed I believe.

Exciting stuff everyone. @Darkle came up with concept of Blog Components on our Discord server. In short, it's inspired by @SychO Widgets Core extension. The idea is to separate all Blog elements into the Components and move them freely between Layout positions. @askvortsov explained how it should be done on technical side with some innovative solutions and @PascalBoschma basically gave his blessing with "I'm in" reply. Hype went above 9000.
Some concept images:
You can find all stuff expected in Blog 1.0 extension here on our newly launched Trello board:
https://trello.com/b/zr2xtYKZ/flarum-blog-road-to-10
In next days we will try to make a deal with guys from V17 development (I hope @askvortsov will join them too), discuss what can and can't be done and how much it will cost. After we get a quote I will try to organize a funding pot and get it crowdfunded.
With everything planned for 1.0, Flarum Blog will become fantastic alternative to Wordpress and other CMS systems. Faster, lightweight, robust, expandable and beautiful. Just like Flarum Potential is huge, I'm sure other developers will see opportunity in all of this and jump on board too.
I invite you all to share your ideas here, come on our Discord server, follow us on Trello and let's get this train going.

Hari related posts?
You can find on our Trello board that we suggested compatibility with @Justoverclock related discussions extension. If done, that would be basic extension with generated list of related post just like it is now.
For more complex solution (with thumbnails like my concept bellow) I think someone will develop a premium extension. I'm interested in it too.
Hari Somone said if I have 5k fof/ pages flarum will get slow
Idk that will be an issue with Blog. Blog posts are basically modified discussions, and I have more then 8k of them on Flarum site I manage. At one point we had over 15k discussions and everything was fine.
Hari Schema support?
Can you explain more? I think Flarum SEO already support it. But yes, it's currently not compatible during some issue with extenders. It should be fixed for 1.0 too.
