tarun It's moot at this point. My concerns were expressed before Davis made his footer extension available. As long as a footer can be reached, that's all that matters to me. We're not using it in our boards yet, but one example of a footer's value is being able to show sponsors in that location, which we do in our main website footer (it's a common location for stuff like that so it displays globally), or legal notices, or auxiliary link lists for content that's not immediately concerned with the navigation of the boards (e.g., other department sites of your company), and so forth. That stuff can all be considered business-important, which will vary depending on type of entity (business, non-profit, gov...) or need -- whatever. Infinite scroll can interfere with that if users can never actually attain/see the footer. But, as I said, it seems to be a moot issue now.
