[deleted] matteocontrini Mmmmm.... But ask @rob006 about the TTFB on his site with WordPress, PHP, etc...
poVoq [deleted] I thought perhaps it may be something in the database, although I see the same with hostrisk.com - this is a stable build from scratch (it does have a lot of extensions, but it's the same if these are all stripped back to just core). I've experienced this across three VPS providers too. I also see some strangely slow behavior of Flarum sometimes and it is clearly related to database access. My not very expert guess looking at how the database is structured is that it has to make some really (unnecessarily) complex SQL queries some times.
[deleted] poVoq I'd agree. I thought perhaps a missing index, but I haven't found any smoking gun yet.
SychO [deleted] did you ever successfully install clockwork ? would love to see a screenshot of the database queries. (might wanna send that privately though).
matteocontrini On my forum this is what PHP/MySQL take in processing on average (excluding network): And this is the distribution of processing time:
[deleted] SychO Yes, but didn't find it that useful. I can install again if need be and provide info via Discord ?
m4v3rick [deleted] Thanks for bringing up this thread. Just realized I could to some performance improvements but not yet sure what I can handle alone. 😅
