Fair points, probably it is just that I have lower expectations than you, I saw their control panel and thought "ok, I just pay for the hardware, customer support probably doesn't even exist", for an hobbist it is fine, for a slightly more serious setup obviously not.

My setup is with the VPS 300: 2 vCPU with 4 GB RAM and 300 GB HDD for 4 Euro per month plus VAT.
I try to avoid AWS, because that is a huge company, and I personally prefer decentralisation.
I try to use providers more local if possible, who are paying taxes in my country.

currently I'm using Hetzner Cloud, and I'm satisfied with the overall services.
Now after serving Flarum with Hetzner, I feel l'll degraded performance. that's why asking for better alternative.

Total Traffic comes to forum is from INDIA only.

MohdKhan Interesting. I'm using Hetzner for another domain I own (it's not running Flarum in this instance, but did previously with little issues apart from a bizarrely high TTFB which is still in place to this day no matter what host I use). I've personally found them lacking along the support lines, but their machines seem to be superior in the sense that they are well priced, and perform consistently well.

MohdKhan Hetzner has servers only in the EU (Germany and Finland), if you have mainly traffic from India wouldn't it be better to look for a more local solution?

MohdKhan My personal preference does lean towards Webmin / Virtualmin, although these are designed for VPS usage, and won't work under shared hosting. I use this on my other domain, and it works flawlessly - it's a complete management suite, and will even handle backups of files and MySQL databases easily.

There's also VestaCP which is free (like Virtualmin)

MohdKhan DigitalOcean has datacenters in India. Prices are a little higher than Hetzner but performance has always been great

I changed server from Hetzner to Vultr (SG), now Flarum give great speed.

If you aren't using a VPS provider (eg: you are setting up a server on a local machine) also remember to use the server version of ubuntu and not the consumer one that contains a lot of things that are useless for a server (also better to use an LTS version).
