Robert, can you add Ukrainian localization to Weblate? I could translate into Ukrainian a lot in a week. If the author of the translation responds, I will transfer the translated lines or/and files.

Still, the idea to keep the translation in one place is very good.

Denys I created repository for language pack: https://github.com/flarum-lang/ukrainian. I have sent you invite to maintain it. Translations should be exported to this repo in few minutes and bot will create PR for first release - you can approve it when release will be ready. Denys Note that you can test unreleased version of lanugage pack by installing it by composer require flarum-lang/ukrainian:dev-master, you don't need to tag new release every hour 😛.

I do have a Flarum 1.62 site using the previous Traditional Chinese pack.

Some revisions have been made in the language section, and are currently in satisfactory use.
I don't know how to output the language package.
Can I also contribute if I use weblate?
I have registered weblate, it currently does not have a traditional Chinese option, if it has this language, can it synchronize the language information on my website?

Subarist the language pack will be forked with all the actual translation, so you don't need to translate again these strings. 😉

Subarist Do you have these translations uploaded somewhere (for example on GitHub)? I could import them too, but I need access to them.

In other case I just import state from https://github.com/pattinsonfuture/lang-traditional-chinese and any custom adjustment in your local copy will have to be manually updated through Weblate interface.

I also suggest to make a copy of these files, since composer may overwrite your changes if you start installing/updating extensions.

Subarist Traditional Chinese is available on Weblate: https://weblate.rob006.net/languages/zh_Hant/flarum/
New language pack: https://github.com/flarum-lang/chinese-traditional - you can install it using composer require flarum-lang/chinese-traditional:dev-master command (you should also disable old language pack).

Currently language pack is marked as unmaintained. But if you want to take care of it I can grant you maintainer permissions - you will be able mark translations as verified and tag new releases. You already can translate through Weblate, you don't need any additional permissions for this.

Hi folks,
first of all, congratulations and thank you for all the work done. I am the chairman of the students association of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and we will be switching from using Vanilla to Flarum, as we prefer it more for its philosophy, stability and overall.

I am writing here to propose the translation into Catalan as it is the official language of the University (although there are students from Latin America and the rest of Spain), it would also be good to consider the translation into Galician and Basque, which are also official languages in the state.

I am offering myself and I can take responsibility for the translation into Catalan. Anything else, I am at your disposal!

pepoliveras I'll try to add support for Catalan language today. As for Galician and Basque, I'll take a look a them next week - these are on our TODO list, but this is a bit more complicated, since there are already exiting (abandoned) language packs for these languages - it would be good to import existing translations for these languages.

I created repository for Catalan language pack: https://github.com/flarum-lang/catalan - I've sent you invite, you should have maintainer permissions there as soon ans you accept it. Composer package should be registered tomorrow.

You can already start translating on Weblate. Translations from Weblate will be exported to GitHub repository after ~1 hour. You will be able to test it using composer require flarum-lang/catalan:dev-master command to install it. When you will be ready to tag stable release, you can approve this PR: flarum-lang/catalan1. Just remember to approve PR instead of merging it (there are instructions in first comment in this PR).
