samtto I believe this is Web3 associated with Ethereum and not Web 3.0. The exact service appears to be MetaMask, an eth wallet service.

we name it Web3 as we have plans to add more connector beside MetaMask, I didn't realized it might be confusing

This is kind of an old bump but I was wondering if there was any way to get this working again. For some reason when folks login through metamask it doesn't work. Do I need to edit anything in the git files like rpc/chain id/etc? @sijad

sijad Yeah currently there's an error. Is it through a certain network or something? I have to take a look at what error I got since I haven't been able to work on the site in a bit.

@sijad Yeah it's asking me to reload the page and try again. Is it only on Ethereum or does it work with other networks? I'm looking at the github and I'm unsure if I should be doing any setup for this. Seems like the backend should be all set.

deadfud I has same error even on Ethereum network.
500 error from /api/tokenjenny/web3/login

Needed to fix this for other networks also and native wallet in Brave browser. It runs it, but not confirms.

Finally found what was the problem in log files
/home/USER/flarum/storage/logs

php-gmp library was missed

sudo apt install php8.0-gmp
sudo apt install php8.1-gmp

Hi,

we would like to help with these efforts by letting people log in with Substrate addresses as well (simultaneously supporting Kusama, Polkadot, Zeitgeist, Acala, Karura, Phala, Invarch, Unique, and many others). We did something similar here but only for adding an address, not logging in with it.

Would someone from this team/effort be interested in a small grant from the RMRK team to build this and make users able to log in with metamask AND polkadot.js and similar wallets?
