Help me with idea's for a company name

That is true if you know origin of this name. But it is not the case for 99.999% of your potential clients - for them it is just weird word written in a weird way.

I have "software" in my company name and some people spell it incorrectly, even if this is just common word. Keep it simple.

Unless they don't become a client, because they have seen logo or ad in one place, but later they could not remember company name ("what was that weird word?"). Or they hear that name somewhere, but then they were not able to google it, because they written it in a wrong way.

Also I'm not sure if being a client will help that much. Personally I,m not interested of origin of name of every store or service I use.

All they have to remember is "MV" then they should find it on google .. as it's a part of "eMVee"

If you search for "mv systems", it won't find "emvee systems".

I think that "MV Systems" is better - it does not have all of the drawbacks of weird spelling (abbreviations are so common, that people does not have problems with them) and have really good potential for logo design.

rob006 I doubt Michael is striving for worldwide success from the get go, so having search terms and what not wouldn't be an issue as a start up. As the company grows and gets bigger, then the name will be more and more well-known. Starting locally, which I only assume is the short-term plan, he would have some sort of marketing whether it be via social media, business cards, flyers, brochures, etc. People in his immediate area would know about it regardless of what the name is.

Either way and whichever name you choose, I wish you all the best of luck with it Michael. Be sure to share your name once you've stuck with one. 😉

Well as said in first post, i'd like something else than "MV systems" as thats widely used already. So with that name i can't stand out already

Yeah, only in belgium and even less so, just going to be a local pc service at start

For now i'm sticking with "eMVee Systems" 😅 Untill something (maybe better) comes up, i'm already looking at making a logo

People already suggested some pretty good names. Here's my two cents: how about you sit down and think/write about your vision for the company? How will you be different from others? What make you not just another pc shop/service? What values do you want to give to your customers? What message do you want to tell them? I believe every great name has a story behind it. After you had your story down, the name will come naturally
