Kalecgos I personally think its heavily disorganized and slow to use running entirely off of javascript.
I do not like Flarum
Akefu-Brewer Are you experiencing these issues on this site, or on your own Flarum instance?
askvortsov Someone else's flarum instance.
Akefu-Brewer Do you have a flarum site yourself?
Akefu-Brewer if you can point me towards the site, I'd be happy to take a look.
Akefu-Brewer so what you meant to say is "the flarum forum that I've been a member of is having issues which need to be resolved so that I can enjoy being part of said community"?
Let us know how we can help achieve that ️ A link to that community or referring the webmaster to us would be a great first step.
Hello,
Allow me to give a little bit of context. He apparently wrote a long post on a different flarum forum which got deleted somehow. He got very angry and said it was all the owners fault. Someone responded to "go yell at the flarum staff" and he said he would. I am also a member of said forum and discuss.
I myself have been using Flarum for many years and think it is the best free forum software. (my original account is here but it was with GitHub so I can't access it https://discuss.flarum.org/u/telesphoreo)
Just thought I should give a little bit of context on why this thread is made.

edit:I will now admit it was just their forum that was crappy with the software

Akefu-Brewer From time to time, very well-designed flarum forums are published in the "showcase" area at flarum.org. Flarum is extensible and lightweight and very fast compared to other cms.
It seems to me that the flarum only needs 1 or 2 years. During this period, many innovations will come and the problems will be completely eliminated.

I've been using Flarum for over 2 months and all I can say is that the platform is the best in terms of functionality, customization, additions and constant new improvements coming up all the time. The community is also warm and helpful and you just feel part of something bigger! Don't know what OP is talking about, but seems like a troll..
personally, i'm 36 year old, and in my life i've tried many forum software, since the first version of phpbb, many version of vbulletin, i've tried also invision power board and many more....
and i've never falled in love with a forum software since Flarum appear in my google search page. And not only because is a good forum (and actually is the best one trust me), but also for the community around this software...
if you see my first thread (through my user page) you can see that i was literally a noob here....zero knowledge of javascript, zero knowledge of composer, zero knowledge of everything. The flarum team really taught me a lot, and today i'm able to write extensions for this platform, i'm part of the team, and i've met lot of good friends here.
Justoverclock Add five years to that age thing and this is exactly how I've experienced stumbling upon flarum and loving it at first sight.
I find the author of the topic very insulting. Insulting the work of others should be forbidden in the community charter. At least allow freedom of expression if it is not disrespectful. Moreover, Flarum is a free software available for everyone with a friendly team and I learn daily even if I don't speak English and I translate my messages. I love Flarum!
If I may, I propose an update to the guidelines to avoid this type of inconvenience that will negatively impact the community spirit of Flarum.
Thanks to the Flarum team
Everyone, I really appreciate the outpours of support for Flarum. Thank you for the kind words, they really mean a lot. That being said:

While I appreciate the sentiment, I don't think I agree. If someone is feeling frustrated with Flarum to the point of coming here to post about it, I don't think we should dismiss it right off the bat. In this case, the problem was due to config issues / faulty extensions used by the server operator, but that won't always be the situation. If there were to be something genuinely wrong with core that was causing this much frustration, I would want to know about it.
The original post could have probably been worded more productively, but it didn't really come off to me as trolling: more likely, OP genuinely lost a post they spent a lot of time on, and were understandably frustrated. Either way, @Akefu-Brewer welcome to Flarum, and I hope your future experiences with it are more positive

bryx Please refer to my post where I state I was wrong myself, and be grateful I didn't go on a chain of swear words, thank you.
