Gatsu May not be your issue but mine did that at first. It was a conflict between a combination of extensions. Hashtag and Best Answer (for me at least) do not like each other. That conflict made the previews not load. I deactivated one of these extensions and the previews load.
Once you have more than a couple extensions messing with the editor, depending on how they are coded, there’s conflicts.
