The Brazilian Portuguese "translation" is an absurd
Esse pacote de tradução me foi útil durante bastante tempo. Depois que vários das extensões do Flarum foram atualizadas (inclusive o núcleo do Flarum), não consegui mais manter nada. Desde então tudo se encontra uma bagunça mesmo. (Justamente por simplesmente usar a "Tradução recomendada" do weblate. )
Quando se fala se trabalho em comunidade, oque temos que fazer é apenas agradecer oque temos ou caso deseja, melhorar a já existente.
Se deseja criar um pacote de idioma "profissional", fique à -vontade.
This translation pack has been useful for a long time. After several of Flarum's functions were updated (the core of Flarum), I could no longer maintain. Since then, everything has been a mess. (Precisely for simply using the weblate's "Recommended Translation".)
When talking, what we have to do is just thank what we have or, if we want, improve the existing one.
If you want to create a "professional" language pack, feel free.
Be sure to pass repository (flarum-lang/brazilian) authority to the @mercuryseries
mercurius Actually @ram0ng1 has been restored to maintainer position few days ago, and I don't think we need another maintainer now, sorry. But you can contribute translations as regular user. You need maintainer permissions only to edit verified translations, which should not be needed in most cases.

I call it "to be mean-spirited"... It just complains and doesn't help.
@rob006 I did a local install and I was seeing where my translation errors were. I noticed that I missed an "i" instead of an "e"... All this caused our "friend" to revolt.
@rob006 To solve this impasse, we can put the @mercurius to check the translations. As for me, I will stay as a regular user.

Community is an actual excuse to do irresponsible shit. If you can't translate, that's ok, but don't do it. It is irresponsible. See, you (and mr. robber) stole my translation and mr. Biagi's and even took out our names from the translators. No problem for me, BUT, if it were to use the autotranslate from weblate, the maintainers could do it.
EDIT: community? ok, but don't do irresponsible shit. BTW, the portuguese translation is MINE, I was about to translate everything da capo ad fine. Stop being a parasite. I would translate even to you, as I did to a lot of forums, no problem.

mercurius I flagged your posts with our mods a couple of times before because I disagree how you have interacted here. It's disrespectful.
If you have an issue with being left out from being credited, you can raise that respectfully with the maintainer or the language coordinator. If you identify incorrect translations, you're welcome to help improve them. But attacking someone who took responsibility over a language pack is not the way.

Your language pack wasn't updated since 2016 and the license holder for your extension is actually Toby Zerner: https://github.com/iacchus/flarum-brazilian-portuguese/blob/master/LICENSE. So realistically if anyone should have been credited, it would have been him.
Please don't come barging in here after 6 years to claim rights to something you worked on for a month or so, never to look at again. Blaming someone who consistently worked on the language pack for over a year.

You are free to maintain your own language pack, this is open source. You can create and publish extensions on packagist however you see fit. But claiming a certain language and causing strife, instead of collaborating with other Portuguese Flarum enthusiasts isn't the way how open source works nor is a good representation of the warm and welcoming community we foster here.
