Hello everyone, I wan to add some html code after article image like below the image.
What is the best possible way to achieve it?

Hi guys.
We have problem with Post galleries ext within comment section below blog articles. When screen size exceed 840 px, CSS rule:

  .FlarumBlog-Article {
    @media screen and (min-width: 840px) {
      display: flex;
      flex-direction: row;
    }

sets parent element from display: block to display: flex which totally breaks the page design and functionality of the gallery.
I would like to kindly ask if is necessary to use flex at all?

As hotfix we set display: block back in custom CSS file, but it is not nice solution.

Hi all,

1)We cannot rename the /blog/ part of the url which does not look too good on some forums, better have 'news' for example.

2)None of the blog posts are canonical and if anyone copies the content, Google will not know our posts were the first ones to be indexed.

3)No idea why, but google does not index my blog post as:
https://website.com/blog/post-here
but
https://mail.website.com/blog/post-here.

No idea where this mail comes from, the page works, but on Google it does not look too good.

4)In each page title we have the word "blog" which kills the SEO keyword density. How to remove this please?

All of this causes the blog pages to not rank as expected.

I am on Flarum 1.8.1
Blog v0.7.2

Any help or suggestion would be more than appreciated as I am not managing to rank well with this type of blog vs other domains using wordpress.

You could use https://discuss.flarum.org/d/23872-custom-paths to modify this. It's a premium extension though.

GreXXL Thanks, I have noticed that this specific module had its last update in June 2023. If important issues like this are not fixed within the blog plugin, I may have to revert to WordPress. It means that the plugins are not being well maintained by whoever built them, as these are crucial issues.

clarkwinkelmann the empty header with dropdown arrows happens when an extension shows the side navigation component on a page that isn't listed inside of the side navigation. There's no single solution to this, the extension developer needs to make some choices: the current page could be dynamically added to the side navigation just when showing the same page, so that it appears on mobile, optionally using CSS to hide it on desktop. An alternate title head element could be provided using the .App-titleControl class, but if the side navigation is used at the same time additional CSS is needed to hide the empty dropdown control. Unfortunately I can't link to any code, I've dealt with this before but only in private-source extensions.

Have a bug. Who know this problem ? user write blog and l accept this blog. But not showing this blog other users. Only see l and blog writer users. l see all acces function and other blog settings. But not find this problem

I don’t know if this is an issue or whether I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve created a tag called blog to use with this plugin but it appears for a user to choose to post in this category when I don’t want to allow this. Can it be hidden from users so they can’t post forum posts in it?

chrisc297 you can use the Flarum Permissions admin page to restrict which groups can post in a given tag ("Restrict by tag" in the top right)

Excelent extension!
I just would like to know if it is possible to change icon and text from the nav menu, or at least the text?

Also, now my client is asking me if it's possible to edit the slug of blog. We really would like to use "faq" instead of "blog" because it's not a blog e we already have a blog. It would be like a blog system but we don't want to call it blog i this website.

Hi.
I'm writing some long posts with lots o headings and I would like to ask if is there any way to use table of contents or at least insert anchor links in posts?
I have found an extension to add TOC but it does not work with blog extension.

highly disappointing that this no longer works in the extension manager and last update was a year ago.
im on shared hosting so access to composer is more complex so ima stick to WordPress.

Fait Can you define more precisely what does not work with the Extension Manager? I was able to install it without any problems. Furthermore, I have not experienced any problems using the extension at this time.
