FriendsOfFlarum upload, the intelligent file attachment extension

After updating my site, it threw an error due to a conflict with the plugin JeromeGillard/flarum-map.. I have now reported this to the extension owner.

@IanM Could you give me any pointer how to implement an AbstractTextFormatterTemplate for my MapTemplate?
The view does not seem to register if it extends from AbstractTextFormatterTemplate altough it has all required methods.
Extending AbstractTemplate does not render it.

AnimaVillis what is the file extension? Just google "<file type> mime" and use that.

Wlork what exactly did you do and what files did you expect to be deleted, we need examples and a way to reproduce to get things resolved.

I updated this extension with :

composer require fof/upload:"*"
php flarum migrate
php flarum cache:clear

And for info : I use IMGUR comme uploader.

Wlork what name does the file have, 422 is an unproccesable entity error, so something must have gone wrong. PS it might also be the case that imgur is doing something new. Imgur forbids using them as a CDN.

AnimaVillis that one regex is way too complicated. Split them up into new entries per file type to make it easier on yourself. Then see if the error persists.

For information, before the update I had no problems.... I don't think IMGUR is the cause ? 🙂

@luceos @IanM what's the point of fof_upload_file_posts table?

I did read some of the previous posts and learned the table was introduced in the summer of '22., but on the most recent version, I'm failing to see how it's been used. Am I missing something?

I'm working on a migration script to Flarum from another forum software and I could use better relations of uploaded files to specific posts.

hrvoje_hr that table links file uploads to posts. So definitely implement that if you can during migrations.

luceos is there any frontend relation to that logic? As I see, right now uploaded files only store data in the fof_upload_files table

hrvoje_hr I believe there's a command that can be run to create the mapping, but it wad disabled in the recent updates IanM

When this is eventually fixed, since there's a command to update the mapping, I don't think you need to worry about it during your import. You will be able to simply run the command after the data has already been imported into Flarum.
