My turn ?...These guys, the main dev team, started Flarum to change something, like Prosperous said and are doing it in their spear time and with little or no budget at all. They do it with passion and no one should say they aren't doing nothing...they build amazing software and that you write on now and see amazing things done with it. You want to fund and speed it up? Go and fund a new project, let's see you build a software like this with some other devs that don't know how Flarum really works and how it should turn out when stable. How can you say that they are not doing a a good joob?! This is nuts for me...Anyways, I think that the team is doing an amazing job and if they finish it a month from now or a year, I'm more than fine with it. If that it takes to bring Flarum to a stable version and be even awesome and solid, then do it when you can. There's no rush. Why should you rush? To make mistakes? Because that is the way to make mistakes.
So, guys, don't rush! Concentrate on making this software a wounder. The best in it's class...like you are!
They are a small team and did such an amazing(I have to stop with the amazingness ?) job and IMHO, Flarum is already stable, a 1.0 version and the so called stable that everyone is waiting for is actually 2.0.
Don't come here and judge the ones that made this for you! You shouldn't have access to this software IMO...go back to SMF, phpBB, WordPress or whatever...I hate it when I see posts that ask for implementations to CMS and features like other forum software's have, this is Flarum(not Sparta ?) and it's way different and should only have specific features to it only.
I like many others, again like @Prosperous said, am not a coder (I am a pretty good designer tho ?) but also like to think I'm contributing by visiting each day and trying to help other out the way I can.
Another thing that I hate is a lot of new users come here and ask for support on how to install because they can't seem to install it. I say this because when I first found out about Flarum, I've seen all of these support questions and then I've seen the installation process with Composer which I had no clue what it is and what it does, I had a headache and then lost interest. I liked Flarum so much and I was so angry that I could not install it, but I didn't ask for any support, because I already read a lot of posts and still couldn't find a solution to install Flarum without SSH access. But I did install it and works great without any issues. I installed it on my Windows 10 laptop with Composer and the ConEmu terminal.
Most of the users that are having some problems after install, IMO, they try and customize or try and make it like they had the other software and then normally issues occur. I've seen a lot of Flarum installs that are already heavy on graphics and ADS and stuff that it was not intended to do...I see them wanting this sooner and this is our Age nowadays, we move to fast...anyway, this is a long post...same long story short...we need to wait if we want something amazing ?
I hate you all...not peace!
