Hi, I just tried to test out FoF filter extension however it doesn't work for me. (I've gotApproval extension enabled) and add some example words separated by commas: word01, word02 at Strings to filter section, then I hit save, cleared cache, login at my test account and post some dissucssions and posts containing disallowed words which were not filtered at all.

does it usually come up with this sort of error in the email? - my username on my forum was 'Jon' it seems to duplicate my username and not leave any spaces?

Thank you for posting! Unfortunately, your post was removed because it contained something we don't want to see on our forums.JonJonIf you believe this was an error, you are in luck, each removed post is reviewed by our moderators. Gatsu Ha, this issue keeps popping up again and again. I have no idea why my PR resolving this issue hasn't been merged yet. I asked a couple of times, but oh well.

PR in question FriendsOfFlarum/filter9

To fix it for yourself you could just download my modified FilterPosts.php and replace it with the one in your installation.

Kakifrucht Thank you. I copied your edited file but the post is always merged even after 10 days.
I noticed that the FilterPosts.php file was not present in my case.

Kakifrucht Thank you so much. Now it works properly, you are very kind.

lakshya please explain what isn't working. Share the relevant error message(s) and the steps that lead to the error.

Or are you joining in on the FreeFlarum reports above?

clarkwinkelmann YES... I M USING FREEFLARUM
Actually, FoF filter doesn't work means............even when a user post anything included in filter words..........nothing happens at all.

The E-mail settings bug has been fixed already before

Since this seems FreeFlarum related only, I will look for error logs and report them. I should have time today, so we'll see

Edit: I've tested it and it works - the post gets flagged for approval (so the approval extension must be enabled), for users that don't have admin. An E-mail is sent too, and merging works correctly too (tested at https://beta.flarum.cloud, word "eucalyptus", feel free to test it all you want). And obviously, no error logs (since it works).

Also note that the "awaiting approval" message is not visible for the post author. And you can't test it with admin account, as I am pretty sure that the filters don't affect it
