emowl I am somewhat ashamed that it was pockethold's fault.

However, I am glad I got a report that corrected my error. I am now a tiny bit more informed on the workings of composer.
Also @luceos , I should have listened to you when you had it plainly in your pull request ?

Neutrideo

Good morning,
could you please post post the composer.log and install.log contents? They should be located in the /temp folder.

It would also be nice to know if you used the latest Release, or the "unstable" release.

Thanks in advance.

here the installer log is

And there is nothing in composer, icant remember what release i used

Neutrideo Hi, sorry for this late reply.

I registered an account with your host and have been testing things to see if it is possible to make it work.

Alas, I can not. The server forces timeout on php scripts, so composer times out before it can even start. Additionally, I can't get php to assign more then 79MB of memory, even though the phpinfo states 150. Composer need 1G to work comfortably.

I am really sorry I could not make it work :/

[deleted] Hi, could you give me the content of install.log and composer.log? they reside in the /temp/ folder.

I notice you have customized your install.
Did you use the "unstable" download, or the latest release download?

[deleted] Hi. If you take a look at https://evanstechtips.com now, you will notice that Pockethold have finished downloading. ( I triggered the install when I checked your conversation from another install and followed your link there. )

I have made sure that allow_url_fopen = true is correct, but it just checks status forever.

Is it related to my PHP memory limit as it is only 32M?

Meow 512 is recommended for PHP memory, and 1GB if installing the marketplace extenion.

Felli Yeah I have read the document before attempting. I am just curious about the exact reason for that permanent ‘Checking Status’.

            Meow @Felli

Hi, sorry for my late reply. Most likely, the reason for "checking status" is that the php script times out.

Alas, it might be something else. In the temp folder, there should be two .log files. They might explain what's going on ?

I must admit, I have had too little time available the last months to work on pockethold. Hopefully the holidays will change this.

              update installer please for russian
