    I registered an account with your host and have been testing things to see if it is possible to make it work.

    Alas, I can not. The server forces timeout on php scripts, so composer times out before it can even start. Additionally, I can't get php to assign more then 79MB of memory, even though the phpinfo states 150. Composer need 1G to work comfortably.

    I am really sorry I could not make it work :/

              I have made sure that allow_url_fopen = true is correct, but it just checks status forever.

              Is it related to my PHP memory limit as it is only 32M?

                Meow 512 is recommended for PHP memory, and 1GB if installing the marketplace extenion.

                        Hi, sorry for my late reply. Most likely, the reason for "checking status" is that the php script times out.

                        Alas, it might be something else. In the temp folder, there should be two .log files. They might explain what's going on ?

                        I must admit, I have had too little time available the last months to work on pockethold. Hopefully the holidays will change this.

                              andreherberth Well, my host moved my space to a new server and Pockethold can work well later, although the memory limit is only expanded from 32M to 128M. Bazzar cannot install extensions, however.

                              Anyway I am so glad that I can see my first installation of Flarum today.?
