Flagrow subscribed, additional event subscriptions

Adds additional subscriptions to specific events.

Installation

Use Bazaar or install manually:

composer require flagrow/subscribed --prefer-dist --no-dev -o

Updating

composer update flagrow/subscribed
php flarum cache:clear

Configuration

Enable the extension. Visit the permissions tab in the admin to configure who can enable subscriptions to specific
events.

How about adding the ability to subscribe users to topics they reply to by default? Currently each user has to set this manually in user settings.

JRay I had planned to implement that, but it had to be done in the front end due to Flarum restrictions. I decided to drop setting a default and enforcing a setting in favour of releasing the extension without more delay.

JRay You may have to be careful with that because if you do not have a VPS and are on share hosting, the number of outgoing emails may be limited, I moved onto VPS because of this reason.

Hi, i tried to install this extension, but it doesn't appear in list of extensions - tried to clear cache of nginx, cloudflare, and browser, but did not change. Am I doing something wrong? Other extensions i can install

Magnetic_dud are you sure it installed correctly? Check vendor/flagrow/subscribed to confirm the directory exists.

no, that directory is empty. Now that i notice, i see this when I install it:..... i typed composer UPDATE instead of composer REQUIRE...

It would be great, if user could set to receive email notification on every new post, not only new discussion. Is it possible?

It adds Discussion Created and User Created notification ability to your personal user settings page if you have the permission to use these.

First, go to your permissions and enable the following permissions to your liking:

Allowed to receive notification upon new discussion
Allowed to receive notification upon new user

Then flush cache php flarum cache:clear, then visit your settings; click your avatar, settings, the notification grid should now show two additional lines:

Someone creates a discussion
When someone registers
