[deleted] animated GIF's were still widely used and given as a "rewards" for contests (especially on Anime/Manga forums) when I was very active in them in 2006-2016. Though I am not much active as I used to be, when I occasionally visit, I do still see old and new members flaring GIF avatars and signatures 😉
This is also something that varies from forum to forum and from Administrator to Administrator. I still enjoy GIF avatars and signature's but I am now more interested in seeing an alternative format being used and implemented such as webm. Though, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, @miowski was simply replying to a topic that still seems to hold interest to a specific group of Administrators it seems 🙂
@danielunited I am most interested in what your members have requested, I like both innovative and older forum features that come from the likes of Vbulletin and XenForo.
