Yes, you can use any mail provider that works (eg. that gives you all the required informations such as port, host, etc.).

      it is time for the second extension update where I have added more extensions that I found to be okay, based on requests at our GitHub. I have checked all of them and enabled them, and everything seems to be working alright.

      • Dashboard - Despite it not being requested, I have decided to include this one because it has a lot of downloads, and it greatly enhances the Admin dashboard.

      This has tidied all the requests a bit. The only thing that unfortunately broke (despite me being careful and picking extensions that are minimalistic and with a few dependencies that shouldn't cause issues) was the Mathren Spanish extension because of the illuminate/container. For now, the Mathren extension is removed until we update the illuminate/container package, because when I updated that one on my test forum, everything was alright along with Mathren.
      Mathren should work now, forums that use Spanish extension should report the issue, if it's urgent.

      Currently, everything is doing alright ATM, but if you stumble upon any issues, please let us know either by emailing us, opening a GitHub issue, or simply replying here. I will take look at FoF Filter later. My apologies for any temporary outages or issues.

      Hey, I'm having an urgent and very random issue. The forum was working completely fine until today. I haven't checked it yesterday so it might've been like this since yesterday, but the point is that I can't access my forum at all. It's like this for another user and on mobile as well. Anyone have any ideas on what could be going on?

        ImNotRen fixed. The issue was Spanish extension after that extension update, complaining about illuminate/container too.

        Reinstalling all composer packages fixed that. I'd suggest that we'd need to reinstall vendor on base forum and then sync it, which will take ± 2 hours.

        Another thing is that the Mathren extension now should work again too. But all forums having Spanish extension will get the error, so if it's urgent, please report it. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

        Update: All forums are being synced now, which will take some time. When that is finished, everything should be alright. This was my first mass extension installation process, so I apologise for some troubles there and here.

            The synchronization process has been finished. All forums should be back online and not receive any error, but if yours for some reason does, please let us know. Sorry again for any trouble.

            Added handy small tips to the bottom of the Administration panel. I hope no one will mind this small change. I tried to make it as responsive as possible, I'm open for feedback & improvements. And also, I need ideas for more tips for the future, but that's enough for today.

            Made a donation for removal of the A free forum powered by FreeFlarum (remove this footer) section. Weeks later still there?

              rubberducky Sorry, we are currently doing footer removal manually and your invoice must have slipped by. Send us a mail to info@freeflarum.com and we will take a look.

                idkwhatusername We are aware of that, however we need to tidy some stuff first before updating. Some packages require certain versions of other packages, and updating some could break FreeFlarum. I searched for some I could update in the recent extension update, but that didn't work. In other words, an another extension update will happen, but you'll have to wait :/

                I think this update will happen when Flarum beta.14 is out, which should hopefully be soon. Extensions will need to be updated, as this release will change the API.

                For now, it is safe to ignore these notices.

                  Thank you for your update. I'm using freeflarum.com very well. However can I ask you something:

                  1. About donations, are you removing the footer correctly? Because some guys are saying they didn't get that service, that's why.
                  2. Do you have any plan to add a korean language pack? I made one for our business but it's a completed one so it will help.

                    1. We currently remove footer notice manually. The invoice just slipped by my watch, and it has been fixed now. If you have any issues, you can mail us, send a message here or at GitHub - everything will work, and we will try to fix it and help you. Usually, the footer gets removed within 12 hours.
                    2. If you request it, then yes, we do. We do not add extensions that are not requested, because more extensions have a higher chance of breaking something, so we review/add only those that are requested and that have a higher demand than others, and minimalistic ones or the ones that shouldn't break anything. Language packs are fine and usually shouldn't break anything. If you create a request at the GitHub, I'll check it.
