Hello. Is there a way to restore private messagess sent via Byobu? Users are not happy to lost all their messagess.

I might install the beta.16 branch to bring back private messages, because right now they exist in database, but you can't access that

Since byobu is down anyone know how to change neon chat so that is not pink anymore? (settings allow to change just the icon plus some more elements but rightmost part of menu is still pink.)

I think that you can just download the database dump from your FreeFlarum settings (https://freeflarum.com/settings) and grab the messages from there? But as for your users, there isn't a way unless the extension is enabled.

You can use CSS. That extension has it's own thread, so maybe post a feature request there: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/25361

That remained from FoF Byobu, which was removed. I have fixed it by clearing the cache of your forum.

Enabling PWA will crash your forum for the first time. Clearing the cache fixes that. I have tried to setup an extender to automatically clear cache when an extension is enabled, but I wasn't successful. I don't want to remove extension because of such a pathetic bug, so if you encounter it I can clear the cache for you, at least until a fix is applied

Thanks all! Is it safe to assume if we paid for our own hosting we could upload images directly onto the server we've installed Flarum on?

trever-s yes, if you would own a server, pretty much anything becomes possible with the right extensions - Flarum is very flexible and if you are creative, you can customize it a lot to provide the functionality that you need (or ask someone to do it for you).

At FreeFlarum, we do not offer local file uploads (I am afraid that the storage for all forums would build up quickly). But Imgur Image upload extension is pretty easy to setup: https://github.com/matteocontrini/flarum-imgur-upload#configuration. All you need is a key, which is fairly simple to obtain (explained in the link).

You still use for/upload and all it's adapters except local right? That includes any S3 compatible one.

luceos yes, we do. I had idea about allowing the local file upload when a donation exceeds certain amount (eg. 20 €, something like a fee for storage), but we'll see. First, we should finish my rebase, which might be done by September

elcubroproxd you must configure allowed file types in the extension settings, otherwise it won't work (if you haven't already done that).
