I have installed the beta.16 development branch on FreeFlarum, since many forums were using that extension. If you have found any errors with that one, please report them to the authors - I can provide logs, if necessary

          aaronlbpeterman I don't know... Last logs from your testff forum are from 23rd May, nothing Byōbu related.

          You should browse the JavaScript console and report potential bugs to the authors, as we can't help with bugs in extensions

              Hey guys, my forum is "offline" today, I've already tried the "fix your forum" from the freeflarum settings but it still offline.

              Is it some maintenance or update, or something that will come back in some moment in time? 😃

                          Hello. I've been taking a look around whether I should spin up a flarum forum for a niche regarding writers.

                          But since I don't have the budget and am just experimenting since I don't have experience running a forum, I decided to try out free flarum. 😀 since I also dont expect to attract 250+ simultaneous users all at once. 😅

                          Now from what I understand going through the FAQ and other various things to read, can I use my own custom domain when registering through a flarum.cloud subdomain? For the first time, signing up on the site?

                          Also, I can see that flarum itself has reached release version 1.0 recently... will free flarum follow? 😅

                          also one more question, if I outgrow the free flarum activity limits, how easy would it be to move my site to a VPS?

                            You can setup FreeFlarum to use your own subdomain right after you create your forum, from the settings (https://freeflarum.com/settings)

                            Of course, when most extensions update and when we finish the FreeFlarum rebase procees 👀. We're aware of the updates, and will upgrade all forums ASAP.

                            As easy as downloading your database and avatars, then importing it to your forum. Optionally, you can also install FreeFlarum's extensions as well. I plan to provide a simpler and better documentation after the rebase, but more on that later

                                      For people who have problem with tiny blog box like me, you can disable Rich Text that may conflict.

                                      Can we pull recent changes? <3 It seems that devs repaired bug I mentioned some time ago.

                                        aaronlbpeterman Unfortunately FreeFlarum won't be able to pull this version until they are able to upgrade to Flarum 1.0.

                                        I'm sure it won't be long, more and more extensions are becoming 1.0 ready every day 🙂
