I meant that when I do a quick search at Extiverse and Discuss, all extensions there are marked as incompatible - except for the one that we already had installed, flarum-lang/brazilian

Anyways, I've now included a dev-master version of flarum-lang/portuguese. Sorry for the confusion, but note that Extiverse and Discuss search did not show any other extensions than flarum-lang/brazilian. I assumed that this was the only compatible extension.

Edit: Is Flarum Languages equal to flarum-lang? The discussion at https://discuss.flarum.org/d/27747-flarum-languages shows me that page was not found

Correct, but searching for "Portuguese" still yields just one result, the Brazilian Portuguese language. flarum-lang/portuguese isn't there:

SKevo that one might not have a tag yet. If you want to go the safe route, add each of the translations separately.

I've now added most of the Flarum Languages extensions to FreeFlarum (thanks to @luceos for giving me a list of all extensions in composer.json). Note that some of them still have untagged versions - these will be included later, when language pack maintainers ~~(in fact, including me maintaining my own pack like once in a year)~~ tag proper versions. This way, we will know that the packs are ready and properly translated.

Also, bumping a forum is now possible only if that forum is publicly listed at the forum directory - there is no point of needing it to be bumped otherwise

In addition to this, you are now able to choose from multiple new forum categories for forum directory. Before, we just had boring two categories, that were more of just a "test" categories anyways. All categories that you can now choose from:

Entertainment
Health
Games
Music
Finance
News
Technology
Culture
Sports

Adding new categories is very easy - suggestions are therefore welcome

I filled in all the information when I applied for freeflarum, but it prompted me to "Please, complete the captcha." There was no "captcha" on the registration page. How should I find it?

songhuajiang there is supposed to be a Google reCAPTCHA in the registration form at all times, right below the E-mail address field. Your browser (or its extensions) might be blocking it, so please check that. If you are located in China, then there's a chance that they might've blocked it

songhuajiang I am afraid that people from China are (as far as we've heard) unable to access all forums, because our IP was possibly blocked too. The main site is behind a Cloudflare proxy, so it should be reachable by everyone.

Sanguine (owner of FreeFlarum) is currently on vacation, so we are unable to solve this issue as of right now. The only possible way to access a FreeFlarum forum from China is to use a proxy or VPN.

We cannot put all forums behind a proxy because that's only available in a paid Cloudflare plan. When Sanguine is back, he will probably change FreeFlarum's IP address to possibly bypass the ban. This will only work if the IP is banned, and not our domain. I thought I'd make this clear for some people. I apologize, but there's not much I can do to help you right now. I can try to look for a different captcha service, if it's supported by the library that we use at our webserver, but that's pretty much it

SKevo Yes, many websites are inaccessible in China, but recently Freeflare has returned to normal, and all Freeflare websites can be accessed normally after reactivation, but the corresponding time may be too long.

songhuajiang As far as I know, freeflarum can log in normally in China. At present, there are freeflarum forums in the programming community, and no one has responded to the problem of "inaccessible". It can be seen that most areas in China can be visited normally. So please don't worry that most parts of China can't be visited.

Also, I've now switched to hCaptcha instead of reCaptcha and created a test forum - everything seems to be working as expected. Could you give it a try and let me know if you are able to see the captcha this time please?

The PWA extension when enabled seems to be having issues generating notification key which in turn does not allow users to post on the forum - https://discuss.flarum.org/d/23219-progressive-web-app-pwa-and-push-notifications/424

ChipsyKing I am not sure what your forum name is, but I think it's the same issue that AowVN was facing. There were a couple of more issues like these with PWA, and I am honestly not sure whether it is an issue in the extension itself or if it's related to FreeFlarum. Since we do not have tools to debug that (and time), we can't tell.

I suggest you to browse your logs at https://freeflarum.com/settings/logs and report issues related to PWA to its author - that's why the logs page was invented anyways. Or you can tell me your forum name and I'll check the error messages for you

ChipsyKing yes, that's the same error message that AowVN (post above yours in the other discussion) had. I don't think that it's related to FreeFlarum, so we can't really help you with that now, sorry
