SKevo I don't have a github login and don't intend to create one so no, if you can't take requests from here well ...

wignu they invest so much effort to keep this free service running for everyone, too bad you cannot be bothered to create an account for your request to be considered. Well.. feels like that's your loss not theirs?

Opinion/question: Why doesn’t Free Flarum have a support board at their site and shut this thread down? Too often people think discuss.flarum.org and Free Flarum are run by the same people; one in the same.

I think doing Free Flarum support this way made sense when Flarum was young. But, now that it is stable and getting more and more popular, this thread will continue to confuse some people.

010101 I suppose that's correct. We will have to consider this. Currently, I am doing some internal code changes, so we might as well setup a support forum and lock this thread in the future.

      Hi team!

Which extension would you recommend me to being able to paste (from clipboard) an image directly into the editor to add it to a post?

      Is there such one?

i find the default implementation a bit cumbersome.

First I need to upload the image somewhere, then I can reference it in the post.

      Thanks!

orschiro we need to know your error, check logs or console for detail and post the issue in the extension thread

orschiro I believe that you need to configure allowed MIME types to upload. See https://github.com/FriendsOfFlarum/upload#mimetype-regular-expression

Also note that local file upload is disabled for non-donors. If you'd like to upload images only, you can check the "Imgur Image Upload" extension as an alternative (see https://github.com/matteocontrini/flarum-imgur-upload#configuration for configuration)

            Another question I have:

I tried submitting my forum via Google Search Console but for some reasons it's receiving a status "Excluded".

Any ideas how I can overcome this?

I already submitted sitemaps but this doesn't seem to help.

What confuses me is that Search Console is considering http:// as excluded.

Where is the mistake in my setup?

            Video of the search console:

orschiro I personally do not work with Google's search console, but my best guess is that http:// is excluded because it's insecure. But as I said, I don't use Google search console and I have no idea what their requirements and policies are. But perhaps someone else might be able to help you?

orschiro try installing the extension related to SEO and Sitemap , check if you have configured Robots.txt correctly . If you didn't do anything wrong, maybe it's a google console problem , wait a week and then try again. My site is still indexed by google, even though I haven't submitted it to the console yet. But as Sekvo said, you should submit with Https

Hi Skevo , I just want to say that I have tested and freelarum can proxy via Cloudflare.

Configure DNS as instructed, and once the forum is up and running, set SSL to Full + enable proxy for subdomains , now you can take advantage of these additional benefits that cloudflare brings.

So far my forum has not had any problems. I think we can include it in the tutorial as an extra option ( cloudflare has helped me a lot about ping since freelarum is not expanding to Asia yet )

AowVN that sounds great, thanks for checking it out. I'll remember to put it into documentation along with other stuff in the future. Since the documentation hasn't updated in a while now, I am thinking that we could rework most of it anyways

Hello I am getting "Flarum encountered a boot error. Details have been logged to the Flarum log file."
