Not as good as a default signature but at least a good workaround.

navindra our forum is hosted on Free Flarum where I only have the extension "Anonymous Posting":

But is extension requires users to be logged in.

navindra I have created a guest account which I want to feature in the signature under each post so that guest can easily find the information while reading a discussion.

I want all members to have the same signature by default.

If they want, they can change the default signature to something personal.

Otherwise it remains the default one.

Hi,

I would like to propose a simple anonymous guest posting as follows:

• A new permission for "Everyone" to create a new discussion or post that needs approval
• Username would be automatically created in incremental order
  -- First guest post is assigned to user1
  -- Second post to user2, etc.
  -- "user" can be localised to match forum language
• A captcha should be shown on post or discussion submit to prevent SPAM

This would reduce the barrier and hassle for people to sign up if all they want is to simply add to a discussion quickly without the additional fancy stuff, such as an account profile or email notifications.

It does not show the correct username but just this @unknown tag.

I still see room for improvement. The current solution is just not intuitive.

You click on the smiley to insert an emoji, and then the first thing you are seeing are those strange indicator icons.

Can't we display the most popular smileys there, such as happy face, sad face, laughing, etc?
