anyone else having troubles with the captcha? I have an error when a user tries to register in the captcha box

    arteteco you likely inserted invalid API/site key in the configuration. Please, double-check if the key and your Captcha configuration settings are correct

          Is there an issue with creating a forum using Firefox?
          Delighted to discover freeflarum.com, but then down at the first hurdle as after entering my details and passing the captcha verification, the page just hung forever on "Creating your forum ...". This was on Firefox 96.0 on a Linux Manjaro Gnome desktop. I tried several times to no avail, so then switched to Chrome, which worked. Thought I should let you know.

            nickc that's strange. I don't use Firefox, and we've never had any error reports from other people.

            After the form is submitted, the forum is created on the server-side, and then you should be redirected to the finish page. It might be just that this time the registration took longer to complete, or something else went wrong.

            We'll have a look at this later. I have plans to change this behaviour to be API based and asynchronous with wider browser and OS support in the near future - mainly to prevent waiting after submitting the form and other rare errors like this one. Anyways, thank you for reporting this to us!

              Is there a possibility for my forum to be complety wiped/reset users and all and an admin account made, and still have the paid perks i purchased?

                orschiro I'm not sure, but I see that you are logging in as robert@domain.com and using Gmail - perhaps Google automatically sets the sender address to the username, regardless of what you specify?                 Proochles yes, I can rewrite the database with the default skeleton one for you. Please, confirm your forum name and whether or not you really want to do it - also note that this is irreversible, so download your data just in case

                                  Proochles ah, indeed. It restored the admin account to the default one too, sorry that I forgot about that.

                                  I can change admin's E-mail address to one of your choice, so that you can reset your password. If you prefer not to make your E-mail address publicly available, we can handle this matter privately via info@freeflarum.com too

                                          SKevo It shows the admin account as deleted and when I try to reset the password it says reload, shall I clear cache, also if you want to do it the sort of hard way I can make a new forum and you can transfer my paid perks over

                                              Proochles I am currently managing everything from my phone, so it's a bit difficult.

                                              You could create a new account at the forum and I'll assign admin permissions to it, which is easier since you just modify 2 rows and 1 column in the database. Creating a new forum is of course an option too, and I'll be glad to transfer your amount that you have donated there
