TeamF I understand and see what you mean. I can create a few more posts to test this, but I'm still not convinced that it's related to FreeFlarum. When migrating, all extensions were updated to the latest version, which could introduce a new bug that could be causing this.

Anyways, I'll check your forum in the evening, if you don't mind me creating more test posts. They can be removed later, so that shouldn't be a problem though

TeamF I have tried disabling all extensions except for mentions, tried syncing your forum, checking server-side and browser logs, without any luck.

The only error that could be useful is this one from browser console:

It is related to the service worker of the PWA extension. So I tried to disable that extension, sync your forum and clear my browser cache (even tried another browser that never visited your forum, so that the service worker file wouldn't be cached). I have updated all extensions of your forum with a hope that this might be fixed somewhere, but that didn't help either. I'm sorry, but I have no idea what it could be at this point (maybe it's related to Flarum core?). Perhaps someone else at this forum might know more...

Bidibobidibu have you changed your language for your account? You can do so from the language dropdown in Flarum's header/sidebar menu on mobile. If yes, then it could be that the extension doesn't have enough translations and you're viewing the untranslated portion of your forum. It could also be a cache thing, etc...

Also I didn't realize that we had 2 Italian extensions installed - I've removed the redundant one

SKevo I'd also like to alert everyone who is using custom/external SMTP settings to temporarily revert back to the default settings (Host: 127.0.0.1, Port: 25, Username, Encryption and Password empty).

I tried using these settings, but still getting errors... is there something else I need to do?

VisceralGravitas it seems that 127.0.0.1 local relay host times out too for some reason... I have changed this to use the old server's mail directly (primary.freeflarum.com), which should work

Hello. I have too a little problem on my freeflarum forum, I don't know since when (a few hours maybe?): when i post a message, the "waiting" circle stays stuck forever, composer stays stuck there. But if i refresh the page, the message I tried to send has been posted.

I worked with emoji and flamoji extensions all afternoon, but it was just options and css, so I don't think it can be related. I tried to deactivate those two and to clear the cache, but same problem.

Am I the only one?

EDIT: it's over, don't know what happened.

TB54 orschiro it's likely related to your SMTP settings. Please, check my announcement above. If you still experience issues, please tell me your forum name and I will have a look at it (you can also check the logs by yourself)

I hosted a forum with freeflarum.com, but the searching experience with CJK language is very poor with native flarum, is there any way to improve that? with native flarum? ideally with freeflarum.com

Hello, sorry i just have added a custom domain to my freeflarum forum, but it shows a 403 error. The hosting and the domain provider (bluehost) told me that i should either connect it via not CNAME but A or talk to freeflarum support team so im here
