SKevo

Hi Kevo,

I am having trouble with my Namescheap Domain. I want to connect my domain "playbluestar.com" as a subdomain for my Forum to >> "discussions.playbluestar.com" but they're telling me there is a SSL issue with FreeFlarum service provider. This is my forum: https://bluestargames.freeflarum.com

What is wrong?

freeflarum.com seems gree but I guess there are some GB or number of users limitations ?

Is there a way in FLarum to " Copy / paste " image in our posts.... Something that is bugging me with Flarum ( the only thing...)

FreeFlarum's user limit is currently not enforced, but we reserve the right to cancel forums that are too big, e. g.: to the point that they endanger the stability of other FreeFlarum forums. In other words, you can have more users than the documentation states, if it doesn't affect other forums' performance. Please, see our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Donations only increase the amount of MBs you can store via FoF Upload attachments, among other perks. They do not allocate more resources to your forum or increase the (albeit rather arbitrary) user limit.

FoF Upload should have a (similar, if not identical) functionality, but I am not 100 % sure, sorry...

Hi SKevo is there some issue with user notifications within forums on freeflarum? Since the new look of notifs bell sometimes we are notified without having actual notifications or we receive those with a delay.

tom23 @SKevo Has the problem with the e-mail addresses from T-Online actually been resolved in the meantime?

          Unfortunately the problem still exists.

And another issue. Our forum https://www.philundrob.de/ is no longer loading.

It's saying it cannot provide a secure connection but I haven't changed anything on the nameserver (Cloudflare) end.

            What could be the issue?

Sorry everyone for the late reply!

Kerry I haven't heard that this would be the case. If you tell me your forum URL, I will look into it when I have spare time

tom23 Yolo thanks for letting me know. I have checked the mail queue, and it seems that T-online refuses mail from FreeFlarum due to "bad reputation". Because other mail providers are fine with FreeFlarum, I have mailed T-online and asked them to clarify - I'll let you know

orschiro the language selection is unused/broken for quite some time now... Perhaps I could hide that section for the time being. Anyways, thank you for the info

orschiro not sure what went wrong there, but I've re-linked your domain, and it seems to work now

tom23 Yolo T-online has informed me that the reputation of FreeFlarum's IP should be reset now. Do E-mails from FreeFlarum arrive in your inbox now?

Kerry I have created a test discussion here https://autoblog.freeflarum.com/d/987, please reply to it so that I can observe what happens

Kerry the Flarum notification arrived on time. However, the E-mail notification was sent to spam. Other than that, I didn't notice anything out of ordinary

Trc4 Equinemarkt I apologize for the inconvenience. Our database server crashed due to high load & low server memory. I have restarted it, so all forums should be back up now.

I have also created a script that will automatically restart the database service when it's down, just in case a similar scenario occurs in the future
