  • Free Flarum hosting on an expert platform by FreeFlarum.com

FreeFlarum is upgraded to a bigger server. All forums will be unavailable during ~5 minutes within the next hour. Also, the hosting location will change from the Netherlands (Upcloud) to Germany (Hetzner). Will update this post once the migration is finished.

    Sanguine as I messaged you on discord (did you install that?) I have been looking at GKE for that reason. Hope the migration will hugely benefit your users! Love your dedication ?

        I used FreeFlarum to make a site. I cannot figure out how to make tags or hierarchies. I assumed there would be a tags location in admin settings, but I don't see it there.

          I am personally vouching for Hetzner as well. I must say, when Hetzner decided to jump on the cloud wagon, they did it with style!

              2. I've used their cloud platform for another high traffic project (>20M pageviews) and it performed flawlessly.

                When beta 8 is released, will there be any announcement on what extensions will be installed or uninstalled?

                  000 absolutely! However, it will take a few weeks after the B8 release before FF will upgrade, because extension authors need to modify their code first.

                    When is FreeFlarum going to propose premium plans ? And with a paid plan, will it be possible to insert Adsense in the forum ?

                      Adding a dns relay service would be the bomb. Allow users easily link a custom domain probably by adding a CNAME record pointing to their FlarumHosting sub-domain.

                                Ralkage Sorry, I still don't understand ? If you have a custom domain, it's up to you to pick a TTL? Please elaborate..

                                Perhaps he meant: allow users to utilize the Flarum DNS servers? I'm not sure what the advantage would be above using a CNAME?
