Is it just me or is my forum running faster than usual after a regular "fixup"? Why is that?
Free Flarum hosting on an expert platform by FreeFlarum.com
I've already requested this extension be added to FreeFlarum on GitHub but thought I'd post it here as well just in case anyone else agrees or has another extension they might suggest that can do the same thing if not better.
Audio BBCode (https://discuss.flarum.org/d/21687-audio-bbcode-add-on)
Why?
This audio extension already works with FOF Upload and gives a template to FOF Upload to create a beautiful audio player for the audio files that you upload to flarum. I prefer to use this instead of the Inline Audio player which just creates a clickable link but discloses your uploaded file location making it too easy for someone to download the audio file directly.

Web server is down Error code 521
Yolo thanks, but more hardware is not required - at least not until I confirm/rule that option out entirely I am going to take a look at speeding things up in the coming days/weeks, now that I finally have time. There will be a downtime later when everything's done, but I'll let you know about the details
Hello FreeFlarum team,
I am very grateful for the services you provide. I understand that you perform daily backups to an offsite location, which is fantastic. However, for my own peace of mind, I was wondering if there is a way for me to create my own regular backups of the instance you’re kindly hosting for our community. I'm willing to undertake any necessary technical setup on my end. If it’s technically feasible, could you please provide me with some guidance on how to do this?
Thank you again for this great platform.

raphael hi, you could theoretically use FreeFlarum's API to periodically download your forum assets from https://freeflarum.com/settings/account_settings. See https://api.freeflarum.com for docs (but in short: get an access token and ping https://api.freeflarum.com/settings/export
regularly)
FYI I am considering to drop the API in the following months. However, I plan to keep this "download data" route, so if you start now, you will likely need to adjust it a bit later (updates will be shared here)

@SKevo
Hello FreeFlarum team!!
First I want to express my gratitude to you all, since FreeFlarum makes it possible for beginners like me to create and run a forum. Now my forum has been working nicely with members and discussions growing.
And I met a problem when adjusting its functions. Enabling HeaderSlideShow turns some of the buttons(such as the "…", delete and edit) below posts into complete white, making it hard to see for forum users. I don't know if this problem was ever reported. If there's any solution or advice, please tell me.
Again, thank you all!!

Kotoki hi, thanks for the kind words :)
This is likely a CSS issue. If you tell me your forum URL (e-mail me at info@freeflarum.com if your forum is private), I can have a closer look at it. FYI, you could also possibly find more information in that extension's discussion
While trying freeflarum i made a forum and screwed up the settings i am logged out and can't log in, it goes to null page while logging in! , i have donated 7 euros if i remove my account can i create a new forum with the same email i donated with to get the benefits?
Thanks alot for the help!
The page isn't loading!
Love love love this Freeflarum feature you have. Thank you for the awesome service. I'm not a coder...and Flarum seemed daunting to install. You made it super easy!
Got a few questions, I couldn't find answers to:
So the ability to add premium extensions aren't available with Freeflarum? Can I use composer on FreeFlarum?
Also, local storage on your hosting is 500gb? or is it unlimited?
- Edited
kbajori50 I have fixed it by disabling the landing page extension. Have you configured HTML for it?
aggro you're welcome! No, premium extensions and composer is not available at FreeFlarum, as it's just a free service. If you want to have full control over your forum (as in installing custom/premium extensions), you will need to self-host it by migrating to a different hosting provider instead
As for local storage, all forums currently have a 500 MB FoF Upload limit. Donating 20 € or more will increase this size to 1 GB
