I have added it and I am syncing all forums right now, the extension should be available shortly. Thank you for pointing it out

I have a strange issue at https://admintech.flarum.cloud/

The FoF Filter does not filter banned words even when it is not enabled. I tried as a guest and I could see the curse-word. It is as if there is no Filter enabled. I cleared cache from Dashboard and used CTRL + F5 on browser. Still the same.

meetdilip that happened on other forums as well, including mine... I don't see any server-side logs related to FoF Filter on your forum and I have no idea what might be causing it, sorry. I will try to look into it in more depth later. You might also have luck in the FoF Filter discussion

joshuawolfsohn the sync should be done by now. Are any errors being reported (either on the page with the "Oops!" box, or in JavaScript console)?

I have just tested it on my forum and it seems to work, so it might be just something on your side. FYI I don't see any errors related to that extension in your forum directory.

It works in the discussion page, but not in the blog boxes (eg.: it still shows "a few seconds ago" message).
I am pretty sure that the Author Change extension isn't compatible with the Blog extension.

joshuawolfsohn probably yes. We've got bigger forums working just fine. If errors will appear (eg.: high traffic, latency, forums down) we'll be noticed and you'll be too. The 250 is just a warning point that things might sooner or later break.

legionmaster no, for that an extension would be needed and I believe that it doesn't exist at the moment.

You have to do it manually, via permission based tags and group assignment. Or use the Byōbu extension

Tags allow you to create private threads. I don't think we can assign access to it through an URL though. If you set it accessible to a particular user group, an URL cannot change it.

I recently created a freeflarum forum and i came across some question i need answer for.

Will the forum users can upload files/images? if yes what is total capacity/limit for it?
How many users can the forum accommodate? If there is a limit of around less digit numbers... how can i increase it?

Uploads is something you can set up with s3 compatible storage.
There's no hard limit I think.

Only through S3 storage, as luceos said.
"Soft" limit is 250 active users. If your forum will start to cause problems (eg.: too much overload, affecting other forums), we'll let you know/take an appropriate action.

No, but we have forums with higher amount of users operating just fine (around 1k posts). I should word it in the ToS more accordingly.

I'd like to note that FreeFlarum's goal is to help other build a starting point for their communities. If you want a big & busy forum, you should consider self-hosting instead as I think that will work better for you.
