I’ve done composer update, but my dash still shows beta.7. No 1 after the 7. Is that normal? Super awesome forum app by the way. Kudos to all the magic developers.

maleficmax And I'm sure we've got it covered. ?

Check out The New & Improved Roadmap, the Community Update - 2017 Year in Review as well as the milestones and Flarum's page on GitHub.

That's more than enough information to get through to get an insight into what the developers have in store for this amazing product. You can also keep up with the developers on their exclusive Dev Diary: Beta 8.

That will surely keep you busy for the next hour or so. ?

Love what Flarum dev team is doing, I was in search of a modern looking forum software and ran into flarum. Would be great to see a production ready version soon. Any idea when are you guys planning to release one. How can we users accelerate the development effort? may be start a kickstarter campaign to collect funds and shorten the timeline of production release? I'll be happy to contribute

Dearie me! I've recently discovered Flarum and I must say—what an absolute joy!

I originally installed Discourse (because it's the hyped popular choice) for research collaboration a few days ago but it was slow, resource-heavy, cluttered, and the UI was terrible, so I started looking for alternatives and Flarum has won me over despite the let's say ‘recreational development’ and beta status. It's a shame you guys don't have commercial backing because you're obviously brilliant developers working on a product with a huge potential to pay for itself. So many great ideas and improvements over Discourse and NodeBB while keeping it all lightweight and swift.

Many thanks for your work, contribution to open source, and best of luck in the future! I'm looking forward to the future of this project!
