tavousi2 sadly it's easier said than done, as Flarum itself offers no easy way of doing it.

Though if you're willing to sponsor the development of that feature feel free to contact any Flagrow dev ?

Trustdee you need to use botfather from telegram.

Create bot
/newbot
And then give the bot name. Name must be end with bot

/setdomain

Bot father will ask you to chose the bot. After choose , it will reply

Link your website with your bot to use the Telegram Login Widget. Widget documentation: https://core.telegram.org/widgets/login

After that , enter the domain name that you want to use.

luceos XxPoNaGeXx that's strange. This extension doesn't override anything in the login modal. It just uses a modified oauth process handler. But the start and end of the process should be handled like any login provider.

Does the recaptcha extension work with other login providers (Facebook, GitHub ?)

Does the recaptcha field show up at all (before submitting maybe ?) or is it hidden all the time when the two extensions are enabled ?

      yes, posted there.

fyi, i already make a bot, link it to main domain, insert the bot name and token to setting, but that happen.

      saturngod hi

after click login via telegram and click the accept button, i got redirected to sign up page. so not logged. any clue what i miss?

paktua I answered you on GitHub. Please don't quote other participants of this discussion if it isn't related.

For anybody reading the discussion above: it's normal behavior. With any social login in Flarum you are then redirected to the signup modal to complete registration. One oddity of this provider is that you still have to fill in an email address as your Telegram account isn't linked to one. You won't get any confirmation email though, just like if you login with a Twitter account that doesn't have an email.

terabytesoftw might be. We have not updated it yet, but it's possible it doesn't require any updating 😃

We'll still make sure of that soon and tag a new version. I see we still have some translations to review as well.

jordanjay29 I think @clarkwinkelmann was trying to be funny

I genuinely thought it might be working at the time.

I thought terabytesoftw was confirming it working with beta 8, but re-reading the message, I think it was in fact a question not written as a question ?

Obviously it's necessary to at least restructure the javascript for beta 8, so no, the extension isn't compatible with 8 or 8.1 as of now.

I'll take care of it soon 😉
