Always refer to the latest update regarding Flarum, in this case, the announcement Toby wrote about the v0.1.0-beta.7 release. Things change all the time and obviously real life can impact any development. In a nutshell, all we have to do is just be patient and give the developers the time they need to get things to stable as soon as possible. In my opinion it's a damned if you do damned if you don't situation.
Damned if you do because more people can take advantage of the forum now but may complicate things once stable is released (it's just a comment, not based on any knowledge).
Damned if you don't because of what we are encountering now by numerous members with not having SSH access.
