Xkyer Hi there, I have recently installed two Flarum setups with WordPress integration with another developer's solution, the WPI one.
I am not that technical and wanted something that seemed straightforward to set up on both sides.
Overall, it works very well. I did not see any appealing forum options within WP and really wanted to keep the systems separate, database-wise, for backups, etc. It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish to get it working. After that, there can be some tinkering with trying out the options and making sure you like how the admin accounts on both sides are set up, etc, because the SSO automatically creates an account on the Flarum side to match it, etc.
Just wanted to mention this, in case you have not looked at WPI as another option and really need a working Flarum integration with WP. There is a low-cost subscription for that premium solution, but I think that will help with the long-term availability of the extension. And you can certainly try it out for 2 months and see if it works as expected.
Note that I have no affiliation with this solution - I just really like the way it is set up and that a not-so-technical person like myself can get it to work without major issues.
Hope it is OK to mention that in this thread.
