Nimren You may have to wait a second before the discussions appear in the auto suggestions. Or if you hit enter it should take you to the search page and display the discussions there. Are you receiving any errors?

I have a problem after upgrading to 11.1 i think the problem is fof-formatting extensions. When the extension is on, some options do not work in the admin panel. Also the search does not work well for me. It only finds posts but not discussions :/

That's what we changed:

We've reverted some changes to search that made it terribly slow

Searching in both titles and content was the cause of the extremely slow search, so we removed it again until we find a better solution flarum/core9f6ec80

luceos To update from Beta.11 to Beta.11.1 you also have to visit your forum and enter database password. At least in my process of update it was requested 😆

Many classic third-party extensions are no longer compatible, so I hope you'll consider how to stabilize the extension framework and try to avoid compatibility issues due to upgrades.

iwoow every beta gets us one step closer to stable, most FoF extensions are highly maintained (some by core devs) so if theirs an issue with one it's very likely that it will be updated shortly.

iwoow which extensions are you talking about specifically? Beta 11.1 wasn't breaking, nor was 11. As to stabilizing the extension framework (api), that is exactly the single most important goal for us to get to stable 😉

nitaaikumar it is very likely that this issue existed in previous releases as well, if you'd be able to report it, we can keep track of its progress 👍️

So this turned out to be one? Formatting is published by the Friends of Flarum, sadly that team consist mostly of people also part of the Flarum team. As such updates to these can lag behind on releases, it doesn't mean they aren't patched over time. If I'm correctly informed @datitisev (who pretty much runs FoF single handedly) takes coffee money as a bribe to get these patches out sooner 🤣 in case you heavily rely on them.

There seems to be quite an important bug in mobiles (both android and ios). I don't know if it has been introduced in Beta 11 or if it was there in Beta 10 also. If we are scroll down in the All Discussions list index page and then change the tag from the top dropdown on mobile devices then it does not jump to the top of the tag page as it should and it stays at the bottom scrolled position. This may be quite confusing for the mobile user who may not know what has happened if he/she does not try to scroll up again when the tag page loads, especially if that tag has less number of posts than the All Discussions index page, then all one could see is the footer when the tag is changed in the dropdown. Maybe someone can report it on github so that it can be fixed soon.
