I might be wrong, but it seems like the author of a help post can't reply to their own help post. Is there an option to make it so that authors of help posts can reply to their own post? This would be very helpful for private discussions and ban appeals, etc.
Edit: To other people who might be googling similar keywords: I misunderstood how tag group permissions work in flarum - if a post has two tags, then users need to have privileges on both tags, not either tag, to see the post. So, ban appeals that span multiple departments can't use this extension to be visible to both departments. In the end, my specific use case was better solved by modifying fof/byobu.
