Fealist it's not the correct setting.

You don't need to fill in "General Information > Interactions Endpoint URL". It's for a different Discord feature.

The oauth redirect is configured under "OAuth2 > General > Redirects" (underneath the oauth client ID and secret)

The URL should not end with a slash.

After it starts redirecting, you get "An error occurred while trying to load this page."

pupsik there should be an error message in your logs if that happens (<flarum>/storage/logs and/or server log file)

If it's about some dumb Elevated access, that forget it. They make you write 200 character poem on how you planning on using API. They can go to hell.

pupsik I'm not sure they actually read what you write unless your app receives a lot of traffic.

I had to do some extreme paraphrasing around "I use API for login only" to make the text reach 200 characters on my app, but it was accepted instantly afterwards. I suppose you can just copy-paste your explanation multiple times if it isn't long enough 😂

Reaching out for help, as we're running into a bit of an issue, have set it up exactly per instructions, but getting a GET 500 error when redirected and not a lot more context with the error.

Robo If you're getting a 500 error, there should be more info in the log file at storage/logs/flarum-<date>.log

010101 Hello, anyone. I’m curious if these odd issues I mentioned in September are still happening to others? I am probably wrong but I thought I narrowed it down to the state string. A random string that is generated and must match throughout the log in process I think or the log in fails? I’m clueless about this oauth stuff so I don’t know.

To recap, I never could get Twitter or Google working. Only Facebook. 🤪

This is so stupid. I tried clearing the cache many times on my computer but I couldn't figure it out. I think I solved the problem after I tried it one more time after you. Thanks for everything @datlechin

The weirdness and this extension continues. The other day after being unsuccessful with this extension before, I tried it again, and Twitter, Google, and Facebook login worked. But, this was from my laptop. Now, from my iPhone I get either “invalid state” or “an error occurred while trying to load this page.” These odd random bugs are so weird.

If there’s a developer out there with an iPhone, try this extension. And if it works, just wait. Try again on a different device the next day. Weird stuff.

I wonder if it has to do with the way iOS opens windows/tabs? The code thinks something nefarious is going on? Does iOS create new tabs during the login process when a regular desktop browser does not?

010101 Do you have PWA enabled? This caused a lot of issues to my forum (Facebook login gives me "Invalid state. Please try again"). Try disabling PWA and try again
