It seems @pepoliveras hasn't been on discuss since October. @rob006 can you please tackle this from your end when you have the time?

@joanaranda thanks for letting us know and giving the facts to deal with this. We don't usually add permissions that easily to guarantee one contact person per language pack. In this case it makes sense to guarantee it's existence in the first place. As these are the holidays, I hope you are able to give us a little room to get back to you.

joanaranda I have granted you maintainer permission on Weblate and GitHub. @pepoliveras kept his maintainer status, but let me know if he's is out of reach for next few months - I would prefer to remove permissions from inactive maintainers.

I've already self-approved the pending suggestions. Knowing that I'll be able to proceed by myself, I'll do a deeper review of the core to increase word consistency according to the glossary.

Hello family, sorry for being very disconnected lately due to personal and work reasons.

Additionally, I have to say that the project I was implementing for the university student association hasn't made much progress either 🙁

I regret not having been able to do more, but @joanaranda has been making a lot off progress and has done good work. Thank you for everything.

I will continue to pay attention to the news and try to keep contributing as much as I can. Thank you for your efforts in keeping this great project alive!

Glad to hear again from you, @pepoliveras. Live is complex and volunteer efforts need to adapt to our personal circumstances. I'll try to keep your high levels of quality and I'll be more than happy if you have more free time in the future and decide to rejoin.

Hey ya'll, I can help you guys with some Indian languages if needed? I can also do German. Not sure how this system is going to work so I'm gonna need a little help understanding

ItsNeil17 you can look at https://weblate.rob006.net/languages/ and register / start translating right now. A maintainer is ideal to release new translations. German language does have an active maintainer @Kakifrucht. I think there is none for Hindi at the moment - but @rob006 will be able to tell more.

ItsNeil17 I have granted you maintainer permission. You can translate through Weblate and approve release PR when you decide to tag new release (please read instructions in first comment of PR). Also, be aware that it takes ~1 hour to export translations from Weblate to repository, so you need to wait a moment before you release new version.

@rob006, I guess that this question is for you. Why nearata-maintenance-mode strings cannot be translated through Weblate? Is this something that can be easily fixed? I am using FoF Linguist to bypass my own needs, but I'd like to provide translated strings that could be reused for other projects. Similarly, other teams may want to translate this extension to their own languages (and sorry if this is already possible and it's me that is missing something).
