  • when someone reply my post, why i can not get the notification?

meihuak that is weird, can I try this out? I signed up, can you reply to my post? I'll check back later to confirm.


    Seems to work just fine for me, but it does need a refresh because you don't have a websocket running (pusher or realtime extension).

      I did not receive notifications for some time, but it was a problem for about 2 days, but then the problem started to come, they will disappear so maybe it will be the same in your case.

      luceos do you open this function?

          meihuak I don't have that enabled no. But all notifications for web were enabled. Have you noticed anything with auto following?

                    meihuak And i create many accounts, some of them can get 1 notification, then it won't get new notification.

                    You can only get 1 notification per discussion. And I'm curious whether you expect more notifications than Flarum provides (without extensions). Can you:

                    • explain when exactly you expect a notification?
                    • explain how you tried to replicate/reproduce receiving that/those notifications?

                          meihuak the only issue I see is proc_open not being enabled on your system, but that shouldn't prevent the notification bell from showing items.. Regardless it might solve your problem, can you enable that function on your system for php? I know nothing about your server, so you'll need to use the internet to find exactly how to do that based on your OS.

                                luceos hey boss, i have enabled the function "proc_open", but there is still this problem.

                                i made many tests then i found the problem. Only admins and mods reply the post, then the user of the post can get the web notifications. Also the user reply the post of admins and mods, then admins and mods can get the web notifications.

                                So maybe there are some mistakes in the permissions setting?

                                  Can you share a screenshot of the user settings page that relates to the notification settings? Can you confirm, for a user that does not receive anything, that they have the right checks toggled?
