Hi All,

How can i block the Primary tag to be posted in, just use it as a container for the secondary tags?
If disable posting there in the permissions then posting in the secondary tags is also prohibited ??

For example:

HeadQuarters should not be able to post topics in
Is there a extension for this ?
HeadQuarters <--- should not be able to post in
-----Annoucements <---- all the seconday sections yes , able to post in
-----New Member introduction

If I'm understanding correctly, you're basically wanting to achieve something along the lines of the [Primary Tags] serving much like [XF Categories] aye?

If this is correct. Then I think all you would need to do is head on into the Tags extension control panel and then set the required [Primary Tags] selection as: [0] to [0].

Are you able to go into the Tags extension control panel?

It'll be the same place where you would've set-up the [Primary Tags].

At the bottom, there should be a couple of settings for how many [Primary] &/or [Secondary] tags users are required to select during thread creation.
